Differing Value Systems

Do I not hate those who hate you, LORD,
and abhor those who are in rebellion against you?
I have nothing but hatred for them;
I count them my enemies.

    I've struggled with these verses and the strong language- hate, abhor, hatred, enemies.. hmmm... so far you've approached it with sad eyebrows... does it go any farther?
